Oh hell. I never should have tried it. And now I want what I can't have at the moment. I joined chemistry.com. I feel that I'm ready to meet someone now.

Before I got sick, I was still runnin from from relationships. But while I was sick, I was scared. Very, very scared. I was continuously sick and I had no idea why. And with the swine flu running rampant, I had a reason to be. At least ten peple have died in a hundred mile radious of me of the swine flu. When I fnally went to the ER, that was the first thing they checked for. And I was grateful for that. It put me at ease. Though finding out that I got pneumonia from a 2yo wasn't the best news either. lol.

So back to the subject at hand... I joined and got a few matches. No, no, hell no, and no, is what I kept saying. Some were possibilities. And then there was one that stood out. Whom I really want to meet. I move to click the "definately" button and suddenly remembered that this was a pay site. And at the moment, I just can't afford to suscribe to it. At least not till after Christmas. Crap. Such is my life...

No writing on the horizon for today or tomorrow I don't think. May try to write a rough of my Kinky Xmas on Sunday though.

Oh, a very good day indeed!

I emailed in my mini_fest fic finally (I've had it done for at least a week).

I proof-read gryffindorj's hp_yule_balls draft and she's looking at my snarry_holidays for me.

I deleted over 300 words from my severusbigbang fic but added at least that much again.

And gryffindorj and I are working on a collab for severusbigbang and it's really taken off! (Thanks to her mostly.)

Actual word count for me so far today is near 600 words but it feels like more. :D

I might have had a bit too much caffeine as well.

Oh, and Minxie? Halloween candy is the work of the devil. Pat Robertson was right. ;)

I'm doing well on my nano - keeping up with the goals, at least. I would like to get another 500-700 words written tonight, but if I can't, it isn't the end of the world.

I will have new buttons and keychains come morning, and that's what's important.

Work is going to be insane for the next few days. I'm honestly not sure how I'll get through it all. Good thing I'm healthy now~!

Crap. Has anyone seen this?

I actually got a nice chunk of fic written today but somehow I've lost track of what number of words I started with. I am working from an edited doc and I looked at the word count when I started but didn't write it down or anything. I know I wrote somewhere between 500 and 1000 today at any rate. Progress!

( WriSoMiFu Day 4 - Thoughts from Day 3 )

They Might Be Giants was awesome in concert again.

This time it was the Flood show. They played all of Flood (not in order), including some songs they never play in concert like minimum wage.

Anyway, my ears are ringing and I need to write another hundred words or so before I pass out (if I can).

Notifications of comments seem to be coming intermittently to me. I missed several from this afternoon but received others. Might want to check your 'recent comments' just to see.

Anyone else notice a problem?

While I'm here . . . I added about 700 words to one of my fics plus I wrote a double drabble today, almost making up for writing nothing yesterday. Not quite making my 500 word a day goal but still making progress.

Did I mention that I missed ya'll?

Hey guys! Hows it going? Ive been MIA for quite some time. Life has def. been a roller derby. Main reason: I've been sick. For 15weeks.

Sinus infection.
Flu.
Still have a sinus infection.
Bronchitus. Sinus infection
Bronchitus. Pneumonia.

Everything was back to back. The sinus infection lasted about 4wks before I was healed. Flonase and the Z pack worked wonders. The Z pk was suppose to clear up my bronchitus as well. Surprise! It didn't. And I didnt realise that it was suppose to. I thought the z pk was just for my sinus'. So I had Bronchitus the rest of the time. I took tons and tons of Robutussin DM Max. And most times, I would cough so hard and long, it felt like my brain was exploding. My doc told me it was because I was cutting the oxygen from my brain off at times. F.U.N.

The cherry on top was when this little girl came into my work place and threw up. She was 2yrs. This happened the sunday before this past sunday. Less than an hour later, I was throwing up uncontrollably and had to leave work early. Got home and still uncontinued to throw up constantly. Tried sleeping it off. Couldn't. My body was singing a tune I never heard before. My body was whistling off key. Out loud.

I have always counted myself to be among the lucky ones. I'm hardly ever sick. I sick about once a year with the flu or a bad cold. Never had to be hospitalised for being sick. So I thought I must be doing something right. Boy was I wrong!

Finally, about 4am, I called for the paramedics. I couldn't breath. As soon as they hooked me up to the Oxy tank, my headach left. I would still cough but the ever present headach had finally left me.

After running tests and bloodwork and hooking me up to an IV, the ER doc told me I had pneumonia and were admitting me. I was there for 3 days. And now I"m so much better! Doc is afraid I might become asthmatic after being sick for so long and having bd allergies, that he presribed me albuterol inhalors.

And now I'm afraid I'll have to back out of my fests that I signed up for. This BITES! I have nothing written. Well maybe I can write for one of them.
