winoniel ([info]winoniel) wrote,
I had a supercervical hysterectomy (laparoscopic) back in January because I was riddled with fibroid tumors. I was walking around the hospital the next day, driving within the week, and went back to work after 3 weeks.

I have to say that I was exhausted any day that I did more than just sit. I was told by friends and my dr. that it was because of the anesthesia, in some cases it can take up to 5-6 months to completely leave your system. After 2 months, though, I feel perfectly fine, and am only reminded of the surgery when I read your post, or someone I haven't seen in a while asks me how I'm doing.

That was my experience. I pretty much sailed through it.

Good luck with whatever you decide!
